My writing projects were stalled by well-meaning friends who were reputed to “know all about computers.” They didn’t (!) and the chronic problems that my five-year-old “Hal Jr.” had developed were “nickel-and-diming” me into ever more aggravating frustration. Looking finally for professional help, a stroke of good fortune brought me to the wonderful people at Orange County Computer. What a relief! They explained the problems in non-technical terms and offered several repair options, depending on my requirements and budget. Within one working day, they de-bugged Hal Jr., increased its power, unscrambled glitches I had caused, installed a new hard drive and, in general, restored my computer to its original performance. After I set it up and plugged it in, they made sure with a phone call that everything was working properly.
